From A4228 (Chepstow
to Coleford road) turn off into village, at castle take Cinderhill (steep
road), house is 100 yards on right. Private car park at rear for 10 cars.
By Road
Gloucestershire is linked
to London, Birmingham and Bristol by three major motorways that circle
the county.
The M4 motorway runs from London to
South Wales skirting
the south of
the county via Swindon (and is a forty-minute drive from Cheltenham via
the A419/417).
The M40 links London with Birmingham.
The M5 runs from Birmingham through the length of Gloucestershire into
the heart of England's South West . Birmingham to the north of the county
is approximately a one hour drive via the M50/M5. London is approximately
2½ hours via the M4.
By Rail The Great Western line runs
from London across to Gloucester with the 125 service operating a limited
service direct to Gloucester. Wales and Borders operate a service from
the west into Gloucester main station.
